Mark MacYoung is a national speaker with over 20 books published on self-defense. He has become known for his direct teaching methods and now focuses on personal safety and self-defense and enhances his teachings with instructinal videos.
MacYoung administers several self-defense programs for he general public and has taught law at law-enforcement agencies and military sites around the world.
In 2009, MacYoung teamed up with Rory Miller, author of Meditations on Violence (2008), Violence: A Writer's Guide (2010) and Facing Violence (2011). Based on over five decades combined experience confronting violent felons, intoxicated and deranged individuals and other dangerous people they developed Conflict Communications. Originally designed for police to de-escalate situations from turning violent, they've expanded the same concepts into conflict resolution and management for business and personal relationships.
