This program is designed to make a difference in a young person's life. Our focus is on building self-esteem by inspiring creativity through team efforts and individual projects.

 

Each young person that comes into the Local Pass Book Youth Media program has the opportunity to learn about business principles, marketing, radio broadcasting and video production.

 

Students also have the opportunity to work on individual projects through a variety of media arts. When a young person finds a new way to express themselves in a positive manner it can quite often lead to new discoveries and abilities.

 

One of our greatest goals is to build scholarship funding to help provide educational assistance for graduating seniors. Students work on fundraising projects and learn a variety of related skills with each event. Event coordination and management skills are taught and implemented as each student works in a team environment.

 

All projects are approved and supervised by adult leadership.
